Who operates this site

This website and the services described on it are operated by Nelson Dario Samaniego, who works publicly under the name Nelson Dario and is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@nelsondario.com.

Adults only

The services and introductory forms are intended for adults aged 18 and older. Nelson does not knowingly invite personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact info@nelsondario.com so the request can be reviewed.

Information collected

The information collected depends on how you use the site and which steps of the booking journey you complete. It may include:

• Introductory forms and inquiries: your name, email address, location or time zone, preferred language, preferred format, and the brief context you choose to share.
• Full intake and preparation: information you choose to provide about your intentions, practical needs, suitability, safety, and session preparation after both you and Nelson agree to continue.
• Scheduling and session safety: selected dates and times, time zone, session format, calendar details, and, when requested for an online session, your current location and an emergency contact.
• Payments: deposit, balance, transaction, and booking-status information needed to arrange a paid session.
• Communications: messages sent by email and, when you choose to use them, practical messages through Instagram or WhatsApp.
• Optional newsletter: your email address, English or Spanish signup source, confirmation status, and subscription or unsubscribe activity when you choose to join Inner Notes.

You choose what personal context to share. Some practical information may be needed to assess fit, arrange a session, support session safety, or complete a requested booking. Recording consent is collected only through a separate private choice after a full session is scheduled.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to inquiries, assess whether the work appears to be an appropriate fit and within scope, prepare for sessions, coordinate scheduling and payment, provide session-related communications, support safety during online or in-home sessions, and meet legal or administrative responsibilities. Newsletter information is used only to confirm and manage the optional subscription and send the public updates requested.

Third-party services and processing outside Canada

The booking and session journey uses Tally for introductory and gated private forms. The separate organizer inquiry form also uses Tally to collect business contact and event-logistics information. It is not a participant or private-session intake form, and organizers are asked not to include participant health histories, diagnoses, trauma details, spiritual beliefs, or other sensitive personal information. TidyCal is used for scheduling, Google Meet for online sessions, Google Calendar for invitations, Google Fonts to provide the site's typefaces, and email for communication. MailerLite processes optional newsletter signups, confirmation messages, subscription status, and newsletter delivery. A PayPal may process deposits or balances through the private booking journey, while Interac e-Transfer is handled through private payment instructions. Google Drive stores an optional full-session audio file only when separate written consent and session-day verbal reconfirmation are recorded. If you choose to communicate through Instagram or WhatsApp, those platforms also process the information you send through them.

These providers operate under their own privacy terms. Depending on their infrastructure and your location, information may be processed or stored outside Canada, where different privacy laws may apply.

Analytics, cookies and language preference

This site does not currently use first-party analytics or advertising cookies. When you choose a site language, the preference is saved in your browser's local storage under nd-language. The Resources page loads MailerLite's JavaScript to display the newsletter form within the site's design. When the form loads, your browser connects directly to MailerLite, which may process technical request information or use its own storage according to its policy. A direct MailerLite link is provided if the embedded form is unavailable. Third-party services linked from or embedded in the site may use their own cookies or similar storage according to their policies.

Optional newsletter choices

Newsletter signup is separate from inquiries, forms, events, agreements, payments, and sessions. You do not need to subscribe to access public content or request a service. MailerLite sends a confirmation message after signup, and newsletter email begins only after you confirm. You can unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter without affecting service access or requested transactional messages. Existing clients, contacts, or event attendees are not added merely because they have communicated with Nelson.

Session recordings

An audio-only recording is available as an optional integration aid for an online or in-home full session. Introductory calls are never recorded. Recording requires a separate written choice and verbal reconfirmation immediately before capture. Declining does not affect service access, and consent may be withdrawn before or during recording. No video or transcript is created.

After capture, Nelson uploads the audio to a client-specific restricted Google Drive file, verifies the upload, deletes the local working copy, and sends access only to the client's confirmed email. Public or link-wide access is not used. The client may download and keep their own copy. Nelson permanently deletes his Drive copy 30 days after delivery, or earlier after withdrawal or an approved early-deletion request. Minimal consent, delivery and deletion evidence may be retained without the audio, link, transcript or session content.

Retention

Retention depends on the type of record and the third-party service used. You may ask what information associated with your inquiry or booking is held and request deletion, subject to information that may need to be kept for legal, accounting, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes. Third-party providers apply their own retention settings and policies.

Safeguards

Personal information is handled only for the purposes described in this policy and through the services identified above. Third-party providers are responsible for safeguards on their systems. No website, email, video-call, payment, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending information that is not needed for the purpose of your inquiry or session.

No sale of personal information

Personal information shared for inquiries, forms, booking, payment, session preparation, or communication is not sold.

Your choices and requests

You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your inquiry or booking, or withdraw consent for an optional use, by contacting info@nelsondario.com. Newsletter subscribers can also use the unsubscribe link in any edition. A request may require enough information to identify the relevant record. Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, accounting, safety, dispute-resolution, or marketing-suppression purposes.

Questions and complaints

Send privacy questions or concerns to info@nelsondario.com. Nelson will review the concern and respond within a reasonable period. If a concern cannot be resolved directly, you may contact the privacy regulator that applies in your jurisdiction.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when the website, booking process, service providers, or privacy practices change. The effective and last-updated dates at the top of this page will be revised when a material change is published.

Important safety note

Please avoid submitting urgent, crisis-related, or unnecessary highly sensitive medical information through website forms or third-party booking tools. This site and its forms are not monitored for emergencies. If you need immediate support, contact local emergency services, a crisis service, or a qualified professional in your area.
